Best Bootcamp with great Instructor!
I joined ChromaTech after having a bad experience with another bootcamp. The experience in ChromaTech was the complete opposite of my previous experience. One of the best things about ChromaTech is that we actually meet live 4-5 days out of the week with the actual instructor. The best decision I made

This school is legit
I was very skeptical about getting enrolled into Chroma because I had been scammed by an IT bootcamp in the past. Gave it a try and this was the best thing I did for myself - life changing program for people like me with no ideas how to get into IT. BUT, if you expect going in and putting no effort then this school is not for you. This is a very challenging course, the only way to survive is to ATTEND & PRACTICE. It's been the best investment for me — every penny I spent is now turning into a decent salary.

Took the SDET course. First of all, the head instructor Diego is a brilliant guy who goes above and beyond to set students up for success not just as an SDET, but also as a human being. Content is well-organized, thorough, and up-to-date with the current market. You don't realize how much you've learned until the final project, when you work with a team to test a product and solve real-life challenges. Very difficult and a lot of fun. Exactly one year ago in Aug, 2025, I reached out to ChromaTech to inquire about the SDET program after I reviewed the many ones I found online. I thought it was going to be your typical training since I had already taken 2 or 3 trainings in other areas of IT before. Choosing ChromaTech for my SDET training was the best decision I could have made, but what truly set this experience apart was Diego. From day one, his approach was incredible. It was never about the money. I felt like he enjoyed teaching and wanted to pass down his knowledge. He was exceptionally patient, taking the time to ensure I fully understood the core concepts and refusing to move forward until he was absolutely certain I had them down perfectly. When balancing the training with my full time job and kids, it became overwhelming. There were times when I started to fall behind and slack, but he didn't let me slip through the cracks. Instead, he stepped in with motivation and patience. So, THANK YOU SO MUCH, DIEGO!!!! I can certainly say that you're someone who genuinely cares about your students. In fact, you honestly believed in me more than I believed in myself at times. Thanks to your mentorship and your excellent program, I secured a fantastic Sr QA Analyst position and am now earning $115K!!!!!! I am incredibly GRATEFUL and I'm writing this hoping that it can be a motivation to someone in this program. Don't give up and keep practicing even for 20 minutes when you don't have a lot of time.
